Say Hello to Lynda Manning-Schwartz!

For those of you who count yourselves among the annual Austin Maya Meeting faithful, you know Lynda's smiling face very well. For many years, she organized the meeting registration and is still among our most active volunteers. This year one of her jobs is to be Michael's Girl Friday, performing important administrative tasks. Her other interests include the ancient Mixtec ("bring back the Mixtec workshops") and she also works as secretary for the Heart of Texas G-Gaugers (hubby, Charles is president) who are "group of families with a common interest in G-gauge railroading, whether indoor or outdoor, regardless of scale." Here is their webpage link: http://www.hotgg.org/?home

I've been looking for early registration materials for months but evidently I don't know where to look. What I find says early registration ended yesterday but when you go to the link for early registration it says yet to be posted. Any advice?????

Hi Jake,

Sorry about the faulty information. What you see state there was the plan, but obviously not implemented. I should go and change it. Michael has been swamped with other duties and has not finished setting up the registration page yet. Michael's email address is utmaya@austin.utexas.edu, in case you need it.

FYI - I am not the volunteer coordinator this year, since I am trying to advance to PhD candidacy.

Hugs,
Elaine
